The children’s amusement park (called Familypark Neusiedlersee in German) has been in operation since 1965 and has grown over the years to become the largest amusement park in Austria in terms of area and number of attractions. Besides dozens of different rides, there are many activity areas for children, including water games, theaters, playgrounds, a petting zoo, and more. The park itself is full of wonderful nature, with many plants, water streams, and colorful flower beds to create a pleasant and natural atmosphere.
The attractions you can enjoy at the children’s amusement park are divided into 4 worlds:
Experience Castle (Erlebnisburg)
Visit Filippo’s castle and meet his good friend, the brave eagle. Children can fly with the brave eagle on the Götterblitz coaster, float in hot air balloons on the Ballonkarussell carousel, or sail on a giant duck in the Entenparade. Here is a detailed list of all the other attractions in the Experience Castle.
Fairy Tale Forest (Märchenwald)
This is the part where the whole park began. It is hidden in an oak forest with paths along which you’ll find characters from beloved children’s fairy tales. You can say hello to Hansel and Gretel, or accompany Little Red Riding Hood on her way to grandma’s house. For the brave, there is also the spooky ghost castle. Within the forest, there are seating areas for a pleasant family picnic and a rest from walking around the park. Here is a detailed list of all the other attractions in the Fairy Tale Forest.
Adventure Island (Abenteuerinsel)
In this part of the park, you will feel just like you’re in a small town near the Mediterranean Sea. Here you’ll find olive trees, Mediterranean-style buildings, sounds, melodies, and of course, lots of fun rides. Children can spin on the flying fish carousel, sail inside a giant crocodile, shoot water cannons, or operate small remote-controlled boats. Here is a detailed list of all the other attractions on Adventure Island.
The Farm (Bauernhof)
The farm offers more than just a petting and feeding corner with sheep, goats, rabbits, and donkeys. There are many animal-themed rides and games for children, just like on a real farm. Children can slide down wave slides, spin on high carousels, milk cows, ride the mouse train, and more! Here is a detailed list of all the attractions at the Farm.

It is also possible to get to the amusement park by public transport using a bus.
