The Attractions – Lutzmannsburg Spa and Waterpark
The largest water park in Burgenland is located in the village of Lutzmannsburg, near the Austrian border with Hungary. The park is called Sonnentherme Lutzmannsburg in German. Here you will find an excellent combination of various exciting water attractions for children and babies, as well as a spa and relaxation area for adults.
The park is divided into three complexes:
- The Children’s Complex
- The Adults’ Complex
- The Toddlers’ Complex
1. The Children’s Complex
This part of the park features a world of waterslides for extreme enthusiasts. Children (and parents) can slide down 800 meters of various slides. You can try the following 7 slides:
- XXL Monster Ride: The longest indoor slide in Austria. The slide is 270 meters long and starts from a high tower that can be reached by an elevator. You slide down on tubes suitable for 2 or 3 people together. (Suitable for children from age 6. Adult supervision is required for children aged 6-8).
- Speedy: A slide 141 meters long. You start the slide from a height of 23 meters and can reach extremely high speeds! (Suitable for children from age 11).
- Twister: Not the fastest slide, but it is one of the longest in the park. It is about 202 meters long and includes sharp twists and turns along the way. (Suitable for children from age 6. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult).

Adventure Pool
This pool has facilities for children as well as a fun wave pool. Every half hour and on the hour, the pool fills with “huge” waves! (Operates from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
Additionally, there is an outdoor pool with water games like bumper water cars, a 4-meter high climbing wall, diving boards, and more.
Outside the pool, there is a play area with a sandbox and inflatables.
Children’s Sauna
Accompanied by an adult, children can try a dry sauna and a steam sauna. The saunas are mild and include explanations for children about the history of the sauna world, as well as its pleasant colors and scents. The saunas are suitable for children from age 3.
The Playroom – Kids Club
If you want a change of pace and a break from the water activities, children can play in the supervised playroom. The playroom has many activities throughout the day and a permanent staff that entertains and plays with the children. In addition, children can participate in various workshops for drawing, coloring, and more. (This service is at an additional cost). The playroom is open throughout the day from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
For older children, there is an advanced game room with game consoles, air hockey, billiards, and various simulators.
2. The Adults’ Complex
It’s not only children who enjoy the water and spa world — adults have plenty to do as well. You can relax in the heated pools, unwind under the massage jets, or simply rest by the water. And of course, you can always join the kids on the slides and in the wave pool!
The indoor pool is connected to the outdoor pool, so you can easily move from inside the building to the outside without getting out of the water. Outside, there is a 25-meter pool for those who want to swim seriously.
Sauna World
In this part of the park, there are a variety of saunas – 2 Finnish saunas, a steam sauna, an aromatic steam sauna, and an infrared room. There is also a small pool with cold water for refreshment after the sauna and a heated outdoor pool. After finishing with the saunas, you can lie down comfortably in the quiet rooms or have a cocktail at the sauna complex bar. Please note: Entry to the sauna world is permitted only in the nude. You will, of course, receive a thin towel for your private areas.
Beauty World
In the beauty world, you can book a variety of treatments – facials, massages, or tanning in the solarium.
3. The Toddlers’ Complex
This part of the park is considered unique among all regional water parks. It is a large complex with a variety of activities for babies. In this area, the air is heated, and the water temperature is between 34 and 36 degrees. There are small pools where babies can stand, splash, and play with small boats. In addition, there is a bubble pool, a tropical pool, and a small outdoor swimming pool. In addition to the various pools, there is a changing and nursing corner, a kitchen for preparing food, and a sleeping room.
