The monkey park does not have small, crowded cages, but rather a huge living area for the monkeys. During your visit, you can watch the monkeys from just a touching distance as there are no fences separating the visitors from the monkeys.
The park is located in the southern part of the state of Carinthia, at the western end of the beautiful Lake Ossiach (Ossiacher See). A visit to the park is a wonderful addition to a day out at the large, clear lake (the 3rd largest in the state of Carinthia) or a visit to the bird of prey park located at the nearby Landskron Castle.
A visit to the park is only possible as part of a guided tour conducted by the park’s qualified staff. During the 45-minute tour, you will learn many interesting facts about the world of monkeys and see how they live and play in the park’s spacious grounds.
In fact, the monkeys have a very large living area, and only a small part of it is open to visitors. The little monkeys are very curious, which is why they come close to the visitors (and also, of course, to get some food from the guide).

Opening Hours:
The park is open every day from April 1st to November 1st, between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM. During the summer months, it’s open until 5:30 PM.
- From June 14th to September 7th: Guided tours take place every 20, 30, and 60 minutes from opening time until 5:30 PM.
- Off-season (April – mid-June, mid-September – early November): Tours are held every hour from opening time until 4:00 PM (starting from 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, etc.).

- Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children): €47
