The Austrian Open Air Museum Stübing is one of the top 10 open-air museums in all of Europe and is the largest of the open-air museums in Austria. During a visit to the museum, you go on a real journey through time, through different historical periods of the last six hundred years in Austria.
About 98 ancient farm buildings tell the story of the villagers who lived among the mountain peaks, in the heart of the blooming valleys, and along the rushing rivers of Austria. 76 buildings were transferred in their entirety to the museum, and 22 buildings are exact replicas of ancient structures from different periods. Inside the buildings, there is antique furniture and household items that were used in the daily lives of the villagers.
