The attractions park of St. Corona is called Wexl Arena, and it is certainly diverse and fun with several particularly experiential attractions. The park is located in the Viennese Alps region, not far from the impressive mountains of the area, Schneeberg Mountain and Rax Mountain, so the surrounding views are absolutely charming.

The main attraction in the park is undoubtedly the modern alpine coaster called the Corona Coaster. Besides the alpine coaster, there is a motor skills park and a bike park suitable for the whole family. In the winter months (starting from December), the area turns into a ski resort with simple slopes that are especially suitable for children.

The Corona Coaster

The modern coaster track in the park offers a particularly safe and enjoyable sliding experience. Unlike many coaster tracks in Austria, you start the ride directly from the top of the hill. There is no need to go up in a cable car or take a special lift from the foot of the hill. In fact, at the end of the track, you will automatically return to the point where you started.

The track itself is winding and is about one kilometer long on the descent. Part of it is several meters above the ground, but along its length, there are safety nets to prevent falls. The sleds themselves are modern and have back support, seat belts, and an advanced braking system. Brave riders can even reach a speed of 40 km/h without effort.

Other Attractions in the Wexl Arena Park

Besides the thrilling alpine coaster, there are a variety of other attractions in the park that are especially suitable for children. The recommended attractions are:

1. Motor Skills Park (Motorikpark)

In this area, there are 25 stations and installations that combine fun with physical activity. Children can go through the various installations that were specially built to strengthen balance, climbing skills, and physical fitness. In addition, there is an area with a large trampoline (for a separate fee) where you can jump as much as you want.

2. Mountain Biking Trail for Little Ones

This trail was built especially for children and is certainly suitable for a first experience with the world of mountain biking. Along the trail, there are twists and small wooden bridges that add to the experience.

3. The Ant Trail (Ameisenpfad)

This family walking path includes 15 different stations along 2.5 kilometers. Along the trail, children can learn about the life and world of ants. Walking the trail is free. The trail is not ideal for strollers.

4. The Wooden Ball Track (Kugelbahn)

On this track, there is a variety of installations and games where you need to roll a small wooden ball and try to successfully complete them. To try the track, you must buy a wooden ball from one of the machines in the park area.
