One of the largest and best spa complexes in the Gastein Valley area is located right in the center of the town of Bad Hofgastein, a short walk from most hotels. The spa is truly huge, covering an area of 36,000 square meters. The spa has four luxurious worlds: the Relax World, the Family World, the Sauna World, and the Ladies’ World. In addition, there is an area for beauty treatments and massages, a sports center with a fully equipped gym, a restaurant, and a beverage bar.

Relax World
The spa’s hot pools area offers a variety of enjoyable options for relaxation. There are indoor and outdoor pools. The hot spring water is rich in salts and minerals that are good for the body and skin. Inside the various pools, there are water jet stations that can be used to massage the body’s muscles. In the outdoor section of the complex, there is a small, clear lake as well as sunbeds for hot summer days. From the pools, you can gaze at the stunning mountain view through the large glass windows.
Family World
This complex will keep the children occupied for hours. There are 3 different water slides, a pool for toddlers, and also a small outdoor playground.
Sauna World
In this part of the spa, you can disconnect from the world and enter a wonderfully quiet and calm area. The complex is divided into saunas inside the building and outside. There are several saunas for your enjoyment: a dry sauna, a steam room, a salt room, and more. Besides the saunas, there are cold pools for refreshment and heated pools for relaxed seating. In addition, there are also quiet rooms where you can lie down comfortably, read a book, or sleep. If you’d like a refreshing drink, you can sit at the bar or have it brought directly to your spot by the pool.
Ladies’ World
This complex is for women only. Here you will find saunas, a beauty treatment room, quiet rooms, and more.
Additional Essential Information for Your Visit
Please note:
- You should bring a towel. It is possible to rent a towel on-site, but it costs €4.50.
- Children are not allowed in the sauna complex.
Opening Hours of the Spa and Sauna:
- Every day from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, open until 10:00 PM.
- In winter (December 20 to March 16), open every day from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
