The Deinberg Adventure Park is located between the village of Weng and the famous town of Werfen (home to the Giant Ice Caves and the famous Hohenwerfen Castle). It’s only a half-hour drive from the city of Salzburg. This is an adventure park for the whole family, offering a range of activities for all ages.
To enjoy the activities in the park, you will need to take an enclosed cable car (called Dorfbahn Rosnerköpfl) that departs from the heart of Weng village and reaches the top of the hill. The cable car has a middle station from which you can embark on a fun and fast ride down the hill, head to the ropes course, or start the puzzle trail for the little ones.
Here’s what the Deinberg Adventure Park looks like:

More Information on the Activities at Deinberg Park
1. The FunLiner Zipline Course
The zipline starts from the top station of the cable car and ends at the middle station. The course is 50 meters above the ground and is about 400 meters long. Brave riders can even reach speeds of 80 km/h!
After finishing the zipline, you can continue down the hill on the three-wheeled carts.
Cost:
- Cable car ride up and zipline down: €18
2. KöpflFlitzer Mountain Carts
From the middle station of the cable car, you can set off on an exciting ride down the winding paths that lead to the valley. The three-wheeled carts are not motorized, but they pick up speed quickly. The trikes are robust with large wheels, so the ride down the slope is not dangerous (of course, it’s important to use the brakes and avoid sharp turns).
Cost:
- One ride: €9
3. Woodland Ropes Course
Near the adventure ride track at the middle station of the cable car, you’ll find the ropes course. The park has 6 challenging courses suitable for children aged 4 and up. The courses are several meters above the ground and feature various stations along the way. The longest course is called the X-Area, which is 12 meters high and about 58 meters long.
As part of the activity, you receive a safety harness and helmet. You must wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes. Children up to the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost:
- Toddler course (up to age 9): €20 per child and €20 for the accompanying parent.
- Ages 9-17: €27
- Adult: €27
4. Puschl’s Rätselberg – An adventure trail for the little ones
This adventure trail for young children takes about an hour and features a variety of puzzles and activities along the way. The trail starts from the middle station of the cable car and ends at the top of the hill at the Auszeit restaurant.
