The Fantasiana amusement park (in German: Fantasiana Erlebnispark Straßwalchen) offers over 50 different attractions related to famous fairytale stories. The park is divided into 7 areas, and each one has fun rides centered around a specific theme.
Fairytale Castle Area
In this area, children can enter a castle just like in the fairytales. There is a small caterpillar-shaped train especially for the little ones. The more courageous can enter the dark Dracula’s Castle, where they will meet strange and very scary characters. Entry to Dracula’s Castle is for ages 7 and up only.
The Smurfs Area
In this part of the park, you’ll find the little Smurf village. The village is built with great detail, and you can see multitudes of Smurfs living happily in the heart of the forest. Additionally, there is a fun roller coaster for the little ones.
Africa Area
The attractions in this complex will make children feel just like they are in Africa. You can ride in an open jeep or sail on a raft on the river, just like on an African safari. In addition, there is an experiential world of activities following the story of Sinbad or the world of pirates. On a hot day, you can get wet on the fun water slide – Mami Wata.
Fairytale Forest
In the heart of the forest, children’s fairytales come to life. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and more await the children inside the wonderful forest.
The Wild West
In this complex, you feel like you’re really in the Wild West, and you can experience the world of the Native Americans in their fight against the white man in the United States.
Action Zone
If you are looking for thrills, this part of the park is especially suitable. You can ride the roller coaster, the Ferris wheel, or the scary ghost train (which has also won a European award). In addition, you can drive like Formula 1 drivers (for the kids) or go down thrilling slides.
