Since the 19th century, Lake Fuschl (in German: Fuschlsee) has been a popular tourist destination due to its clear waters and the wonderful nature that surrounds it. Swimming Beaches Around Lake Fuschl
There are 4 public swimming beaches around the lake:
- Fuschlseebad Lakeside – The most popular. A combination of a pool and a water slide, there is an entrance fee of €9 for adults. Address: Dorfstrasse 30, 5330 Fuschl am See.
- Stöllinger – Suitable for families with children, there is an entrance fee of €6 for adults.
- Wesenauer – Warmer water than the other beaches, there is an entrance fee of €5 for adults.
- Hof bei Salzburg
The average water temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius in the summer. On a hot summer day, it is definitely refreshing. The various beaches have restrooms, kiosks, playgrounds, and beach volleyball courts.
