The nature park in Ferleiten can be divided into two parts: the animal area and the amusement park area.
In the animal area, there are about 200 animals typical of the Alpine region. You can see wolves, ibex, brown bears, alpacas, lynx, bison, owls, deer, donkeys, marmots, and more. There is also a cute petting zoo with small, furry animals. Children can pet rabbits, alpacas, goats, and more.
Around the park, there are observation towers that give you a chance to gaze at the spectacular landscape, as well as information boards that will enrich your knowledge about the Alpine natural world. The park also has a small building with an exhibition on the world of water in the mountain lakes.
If you wish, guided tours of the park are also available by prior arrangement.
The second part of the park is the amusement park area. In this section, there are about 40 different rides. Most of the rides are free, and some will cost only 50 cents or one euro to operate (there are coin machines on-site). In this area, you can enjoy carousels, slides, bumper boats, water games, trampolines, a tube slide, bumper cars, a children’s train, swings, and more.
You can easily spend several hours among the various rides, and while the children are having fun, you can sit and relax at the on-site restaurant, which offers snacks, soft drinks, and of course, ice cream.
