1. Neustift im Stubaital

This small village is known in the Tyrol region especially for its proximity to the Stubai Glacier. 2. Schönberg im Stubaital

This village is located at the foot of the high Serles mountain, only 10 kilometers from Innsbruck. The village is at an altitude of 1,013 meters and is essentially the place where the Wipptal Valley and the Stubai Valley merge. The village is at an important point along the trade route between north and south, and the main road leading to Italy passes nearby. This small village is also located at the foot of the Serles mountain, about 11 kilometers south of Innsbruck. The first settlers in the village area arrived during the Middle Ages and established a thriving mineral mining area. Because of this, you can still see beautiful and ancient buildings, including impressive ceiling paintings from the Baroque period, which serve as a reminder of the period of prosperity that the valley experienced. If you pass through this valley, it is worth stopping at the ancient water station of the village (Alte Mühle).
