The Wildkogel Arena nature and amusement area is located at the western end of the Salzburgerland region, not far from the powerful Krimml Waterfalls and the popular tourist area of Zell am See–Kaprun. The Wildkogel mountain rises to a height of 2,224 meters above sea level, offering a most spectacular view of huge peaks that rise above 3,000 meters. The mountain features experiential hiking trails, amusement areas, and a particularly exciting non-motorized mountain cart (go-kart) track.

To reach the various attractions, you need to take a cable car (or walk for several hours). The attractions are located partly at the mountain’s middle station or at its summit. You can go up to the summit to admire the view and then descend via the panoramic trail that connects the top station to the middle station. There is no doubt that a visit to this area is a special experience for the whole family.

In this article, we will detail the most popular attractions in this area: the 10-slide trail, the Kogel-Mogel play area, and the experiential mountain cart trail. Further in the article, you will find more details about the cable cars to the summit and other essential information for your visit.
