Vienna is a great destination for a relaxed city trip lasting several days, but you can definitely upgrade your visit to Vienna by visiting one of the luxurious spa hotels located throughout Eastern Austria. Note: During winter, especially from January to March, when the number of travelers decreases, you can find good prices for these pampering hotels and make your winter vacation truly excellent.

1. Rogner Bad Blumau

In the state of Styria, south of Vienna and not far from the city of Graz, there is a unique hotel designed by the international artist Hundertwasser. 3. St. Martins Therme and Lodge Hotel

A short distance from Lake Neusiedl, southeast of Vienna, you’ll find St. Martin’s Spa. Lake Neusiedl is the largest lake in the region and is actually at the heart of a beautiful nature reserve teeming with wildlife and vegetation.   • How to Get There: You can reach the Frauenkirchen train station, which is about 4.5 kilometers from the hotel, in about an hour by train from Vienna’s main train station (Wien Hbf).   • How to Get There: By train from Vienna Wien Meidling station, travel about half an hour to Wiener Neustadt Hbf. 5. Therme Laa – Hotel & Silent Spa

This luxurious hotel is located north of Vienna, not far from the Czech border, yet only an hour and a half by train from the city. 6. Quellenhotel Heiltherme Bad Waltersdorf – 2-Thermenresort

The spa hotel in the village of Bad Waltersdorf is located in Southern Austria, about 60 kilometers from Graz (but easily accessible from Vienna). The hotel has a private spa complex for hotel guests and also access to the large public spa called Heiltherme, which is located within the hotel complex.
