The Felsentherme spa complex is located in the heart of the town of Bad Gastein in the popular Gastein Valley, not far from a variety of great hotels (see the list on Booking.com). The spa offers a range of thermal pools with mineral-rich water that comes from about 18 natural springs. It is situated at an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level, so the views from it are truly impressive.
The spa has several heated pools, both indoors and outdoors. The water in the heated pools reaches a temperature of 32°C, but there is also a standard sports pool with water at a temperature of 24°C. Additionally, there is an area designed for children with a 70-meter water slide, a children’s pool, a waterfall, and more.
Throughout the complex, there are relaxation areas with beds overlooking the mountain scenery. On hot summer days, you can sit outside and enjoy the sun.
Besides the pools, you can also enjoy various saunas. The on-site sauna world has 8 saunas and steam rooms. This is a separate part of the main complex, making it quieter and more suitable for rest and relaxation.
If you plan to stay at the spa for a few hours, you can sit down for lunch at the on-site restaurant.
