As you may have already discovered, almost every corner of Salzburg is somehow connected to Mozart. Across the river, you can visit the house that the Mozart family used between 1773 and 1787 (Mozart-Wohnhaus). This house is larger than the one in the heart of the Old Town and has 8 rooms. Today, it serves as a museum showcasing additional parts of the great composer’s life. The museum features Mozart’s piano, numerous documents, and portraits. In the various exhibitions, you can learn more details about Mozart’s life, the house, and his family’s life. The museum also hosts concerts and lectures related to the great composer.
