The Bad Gastein Waterfall is truly an extraordinary natural wonder!
Usually, when you want to see huge natural waterfalls, you have to walk through nature reserves among mountains and valleys. One of the reasons the Bad Gastein waterfall area is so popular is that it is located right in the heart of the town of Bad Gastein in the famous Gastein Valley! The waterfall is divided into three levels, and the height difference between its upper and lower parts is 341 meters! You can walk along the waterfall or stand and watch it from the ancient stone bridge at the middle level.
