The Spa Complexes in Bad Kleinkirchheim
In the small town, there are two complexes for relaxation and fun with a pampering spa. The two complexes are a 5-minute drive from each other. One complex, called Therme St. Kathrein, has large heated pools, and the other, called the Römerbad Thermal Spa, has a diverse world of saunas and pools as well.
Therme St. Kathrein
This spa complex is very large and has recently undergone extensive renovation. The spa has the largest pool area in Carinthia and also the longest water slide in the entire region.
The water area includes relaxation pools at a temperature of 34 degrees with hot water jets for muscle relaxation and rest. In addition, there is a fun pool for children that connects to a large, heated outdoor pool at a temperature of 30 degrees. In this pool is the long slide called Nockberge, which is 86 meters long. The slide operates all year round, even on cold winter days (it is covered and starts and ends inside the building). For the little ones, there is a shallow, heated pool.
If you want to enrich your visit, you can enter the diverse sauna complex, which includes a Finnish sauna, a steam sauna, an aromatic sauna, and more. The saunas are located both inside the building and some outside. Of course, there are comfortable seating areas, quiet rooms, and a place to eat a hot meal throughout the day.
There is a separate section for beauty treatments and massages.
