In this article, we have gathered the most important information about the exciting attractions of Golm, as well as the cable car that takes you to them.
1. Alpine Coaster Golm
The alpine coaster track is especially long—2.6 kilometers down the mountain, ending in the village of Vandans. The alpine coaster operates in winter and summer (weather permitting). To get to the start of the track, you need to take the cable car up the mountain. The cable car ride to the start of the coaster track is free of charge.
The long ride includes 44 jumps along the way, twists, and sharp turns. The descent takes about 8 minutes, during which you can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h (of course, there are brakes to slow down). The coasters themselves are very safe and include a proper seat with back support and two seat belts.
The coasters are suitable for children aged 3 and up. From ages 3-8, children must be accompanied by an adult. From age 8 and a height of 1.4 meters, children can ride alone. Children aged 14 and over can act as an accompanying person for younger children.
