The Water and Spa World in Gmünd

The Sole Felsen Bad water and spa complex in Gmünd has 7 indoor and outdoor pools. Some of the pools are heated and contain minerals and salts in various concentrations. In addition, the complex is located on the shore of a lake, and during the warm summer months, you can swim in the refreshing lake water.
For children, there are two pools (one outdoor and one indoor) with 2 fun water slides. There is also a 25-meter competition pool for children.
The Sauna World
This large and diverse complex includes a wide range of saunas at different temperatures. There are two sauna areas, one inside the building and one outside. There are also heated Jacuzzi pools and small relaxation pools.

The cost for the water world only starts at €19.50 for an adult and €13.90 for a child for two hours. The cost for the water world and sauna world starts at €30.50 for an adult and €25.90 for a child for two hours.

How to get to the spa by public transport from Vienna?
You can travel from Vienna using a combination of a regional train and a bus. From the Wien Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof station, take the REX train towards Gmünd. The journey takes about two and a half hours. Get off at the Gmünd NÖ Bahnhof station. From there, it’s a two-minute walk to the nearby bus station, where you’ll take bus number WA31 and get off after a 10-minute ride at the Gmünd NÖ Sole-Felsen-Bad station.
