This is what the Museum of Illusions looks like
What’s in the museum?
- The True Mirror: Mirrors can be deceiving. Are you really seeing yourself as others do? This exhibit lets you discover your true reflection for the first time!
- Stereogram: A stereogram is an image within an image, featuring hidden 3D objects. These can only be seen by standing very close—until your nose nearly touches the picture—at which point the concealed image is revealed.
- The Tilted Room: Ready to drastically change your perception of the world? The Tilted Room will make you look at the world from a different angle. Take funny and creative photos—the sky’s the limit.
- The Ames Room (Dwarf and Giant Room): On one side of the room you’ll feel like a giant, while just a few meters away you’ll feel like a dwarf. The space creates the illusion of rapid shrinking and growing, making it perfect for fun and quirky photos.
- The Vortex Tunnel: This room will make you feel unsteady, pulling you into a vortex of illusions. Is the room actually spinning, or is it all in your mind? You’ll have to see for yourself.
- The Infinity Room: The room that never ends. A room of mirrors where you can see yourself an infinite number of times!
- Head on a Platter: Have you ever, in your wildest dreams, imagined your head being served on a platter? Even if you haven’t… now you can try and see if it’s really possible. Don’t worry, we tried it, and it doesn’t hurt at all.
- The Chair Illusion: The human brain can sometimes give us a real headache. What is considered big and what is considered small? In this room, you probably won’t be so sure anymore.
- Holograms: Impressive 3D images depicting human evolution.
