5. Kruger’s American Bar
Since the 1920s, this place, just a few steps from the Opera, has been one of Vienna’s first exclusive bars in an area that was then part of the city center’s red-light district. In fact, this bar is considered one of the oldest in all of Vienna. Even today, this bar continues to preserve its old style, not only in its design but also in its selection of cocktails. The leather sofas and various wooden furniture have been preserved from the 1920s and create a dim but relaxed atmosphere.
